With Denver Green Jobs Initiative (DGJI) course curriculum created and instructed by industry professionals, students acquired the relevant skills, knowledge and safety practices necessary to work in Colorado's new energy economy. DGJI graduates' excellent preparation means you spend little or no additional time training your new employee.

All DGJI graduates receive OSHA 10 training and certification.
In addition to the OSHA 10 training and certification, all DGJI graduates underwent significant safety training pertaining to their chosen career path, including:
  • Basic PV safety
  • Safely testing high voltage
  • Hazards
  • Industry-specific safety equipment and PPE
  • Job site safety awareness
  • First Aid Safety working harness, tie off
  • Fall prevention, ladder safety, types of ladders
  • Safe working practices with AC and DC electricity
  • Hazards specific to auditing and energy efficiency
  • Review of OSHA standards
  • Identifying mold hazards
  • Identifying asbestos hazards
  • Identifying lead hazards
  • Safe work practices (both for the auditor and home owner)
