About Denver Green Jobs Initiative

Denver Green Jobs Initiative (DGJI) provided free job training, support services and job placement assistance to unemployed and disadvantaged residents of northeast Denver (see the Eligibility Criteria page for more details). DGJI training programs were customized to help low-income residents launch careers with strong earning and advancement potential in Colorado's high-growth green industries:

• Solar Energy Technology
• Green Construction
• Energy Efficiency and Weatherization
• Green Jobs Administration and Sales
• OSHA 10
• Frost Commercial Insulators Apprenticeship

Women, minorities, high school dropouts, veterans (including spouses), ex-offenders and the homeless were encouraged to apply.
